An approach that begins with the complexity of the body not from simplification

The 5 dimensions of well-being In life

DIET

What you eat, how you eat it, when you eat it. Food as biological information, neither an enemy nor a medicine.

MOVEMENT

The body is designed to move. Not to perform, but to live. The right kind of movement, in the right amount, is one of the most powerful pillars of longevity.

SLEEP

Sleep is not a luxury. It is the time when the body repairs, consolidates, and restores balance. One night of insufficient sleep can alter your metabolism as early as the following morning.

RELATIONS

The world's longest-living populations share something you won't find in any supplement: deep human connections and the ability to celebrate life.

TRANSCENDENCE

The sense of belonging to something greater: nature, community, the sacred. It is a documented health factor, not a metaphor, it is biology.

In my work, I use a visual model represented by a five-pointed star, a tool that helps identify areas of life where greater balance and well-being can be fostered. The focus is not on illness, but on the harmony between five fundamental dimensions of health.

The Human Body

It is not a collection of separate organs. It is a living, interconnected system, where every element continuously influences the others. This is the fundamental premise of Functional Medicine and the starting point for all my work.

30 Years of Training Medical Specialists

I came to understand that there is an area often underexplored in clinical medicine: the realm of root causes, prevention, and the management of chronic conditions. It is the domain of well-being built through conscious choices.

La Functional Nutrition

The grey area between illness and the full potential of health. The space where symptoms exist, take their toll, and limit quality of life, yet find no answers in standard tests. Not because conventional medicine is wrong, but because it was not designed to address that question.

Accompaniment

Every journey begins with an in-depth questionnaire

Eating habits

Sleep quality

Stress level

Clinical history

Relations

Daily movement

From this holistic understanding emerges a personalized plan.
A set of specific, achievable actions, agreed upon together with scientific rigor, sensitivity, and the deep conviction that understanding your own body is, in itself, an act of self-care.

The scientific roots

Functional Medicine — IFM, USA

The Institute for Functional Medicine, founded in the United States in 1991, is the world's leading scientific reference in this field. Its fundamental question is not “What disease do you have?” but “Why has this biological system stopped functioning?” Seeking the causes, not just the symptoms.

IHS — Institute of Health Sciences, Dublino

My academic training took place at IHS in Dublin, where I obtained a European university-level qualification (EQF Level 6) in Personalised Nutrition and Therapeutics, specialising in Metabolic Diseases. This training integrates biochemistry, physiology, nutrigenomics, and coaching.

FMC Ireland — Lifestyle and Functional Medicine Conference

The annual Dublin conference — an international organisational member of the IFM — is Europe's main professional development event in this field. It is where the latest research meets clinical practice.

Blue Zones — Dan Buettner

The Blue Zones are the five regions of the world with the highest concentrations of healthy centenarians: Sardinia, Okinawa, Nicoya, Ikaria, and Loma Linda. Researcher Dan Buettner identified nine common denominators — the Power 9 — that help explain this exceptional longevity. It's not just about food: it's about movement, sleep, relationships, and purpose. The body as a whole, within its life context.

Nutrigenomica — DNAlysis / DNA Life

Nutrigenomics studies how your genes interact with what you eat. A simple saliva, stool, or peripheral blood test can help identify your individual nutritional genetic profile and tailor nutritional guidance with greater precision. I have specialised training in nutrigenomics through DNAlysis, one of the internationally recognised laboratories in this field.
