The art of nourishing the body and the life that inhabits it
Conventional medicine is designed for the diseased body—and it excels at that. Yet, there is a space it rarely explores: the gap between a clear-cut diagnosis and
one’s full health potential.
Millions of people live in that space—feeling tired, out of balance, and experiencing a range of symptoms for which no medical test provides an answer. And yet, these symptoms have meaning: they reflect one or more bodily functions that are not operating at their full potential. To conventional medicine, this often does not register as a "problem." But for those who experience these symptoms every day, it is a matter of their quality of life.
It is within this space that Functional Nutrition operates.
The body has a logic of its own.
Understanding it changes everything.
For a healthier, happier, more serene life — today and tomorrow.
My Approach
In my work, I use a visual model represented by a five-pointed star, a tool that helps identify areas of life where greater balance and well-being can be fostered. The focus is not on illness, but on the harmony between five fundamental dimensions of health.
About Me
For thirty years, I trained specialist physicians in cardiology, diabetology, endocrinology, and reproductive medicine in Ticino and throughout Switzerland. I experienced the medical world from the inside. I know its language, its protocols, and its extraordinary potential. And I know its limitations.
Further Insights
Scientific communication is a central part of my work. Not as simplification, but as translation. Taking complex concepts rooted in biochemical and clinical research and making them accessible to people without a medical background.
Accompaniment
Functional Nutrition addresses the individual as a whole. Every program is different because each person’s biology, personal history, and lifestyle are unique. I do not practice as a therapist. My field is functional health support, based on the principles of Functional Nutrition.
